## Facts (2026-10-13)

- **Lab frame rate:** 60 fps at 1080p
- **Campaign:** Completed start to finish in the lab
- **Input:** DualSense haptics verified over USB

## Lab result

God of War Ragnarok is Stable on Kiln. The full campaign completed in the lab at 60 fps on the reference rig, including the big set-piece fights.

DualSense haptics work over USB on this title — axe recalls and shield hits come through. That is per-title behavior, not a blanket promise; see [DualSense](/boot/dualsense-on-pc).

## Settings that held 60

1080p Performance preset. The realms hold 60 fps; heavy particle fights dip briefly and recover.

Long sessions are fine — saves, checkpoints, and realm transitions all verified. Keep the install on NVMe.

If frames slide over time, check thermals and background load before blaming the emulator. The [reference rig](/lab/reference-rig) is a cooled desktop with nothing else running.

## Boot it

Install Kiln, install official firmware, boot system software, add the game you own. The whole path is [Boot](/boot).
