# Stellar Blade — PS5 emulator.

Stable. 60 fps at 1080p. Plays start to finish — combat holds 60 fps.

## Facts (2026-10-13)

- **Lab status:** Stable
- **Lab frame rate:** 60 fps at 1080p
- **Combat:** Holds 60 fps in fights
- **Reference rig:** RTX 3070 · 8C/16T · 32 GB · NVMe

## Lab result

Stellar Blade is Stable on Kiln. It plays start to finish, and combat — the part that matters — holds 60 fps at 1080p on the reference rig.

Parry timing reads correctly at 60 fps. If your PC cannot hold the frame rate, this is the wrong title to force; frames are gameplay here.

## Settings that held 60

1080p Performance preset, discrete GPU selected, nothing else running. Boss arenas stay locked.

First-launch shader builds hitch the opening fights. Run through once, then judge. See [boost fps](/lab/boost-fps) for the full checklist.

DualSense or Xbox pad both work. Keyboard mapping exists but this is a pad game — see [DualSense](/boot/dualsense-on-pc).

## Known issues

None blocking on the lab build. Occasional single-frame dips in crowded arenas.

Kiln is a PlayStation 5 emulator for Windows PC graded on one rig. A Stable grade is a lab result, not a promise about your hardware.

## FAQ

### Is combat a locked 60?

On the reference rig, yes — combat holds 60 fps at 1080p. Weaker GPUs will dip in busy arenas.

### Which controller should I use?

A DualSense over USB or an Xbox pad. Both are mapped to the same layout.
