What this product is
Kiln is a PlayStation 5 emulator for Windows PC, distributed as a Windows installer on consolepc.net. The installer sets up a desktop launcher. You point that launcher at games you already have. Those files stay on your PC.
What we collect
Site: aggregate page views and Windows installer download counts, so we can see which pages people use. Crash reports: optional and off by default. If you turn them on, Kiln can send an anonymized stack trace, the build number, and the GPU name to help fix an early build.
What we do not collect
We do not upload your game library. Folder paths you add in the launcher stay local. We do not sell or rent personal data. Update checks send the current build number.
Games and Sony
Own the games you already have. Kiln does not include games. Kiln is not affiliated with Sony or PlayStation.
Cookies
The site is built to work without tracking cookies. It does not embed third-party video players or social widgets.
