The software
Kiln is a PlayStation 5 emulator for Windows PC, delivered as a Windows installer on consolepc.net. The installer includes a desktop launcher. The software is provided “as is,” without warranty. Early builds crash, lose unsaved progress, and fail to start titles. Numbers on the compat pages are lab targets, not certifications of performance or compatibility.
Games you already have
Own the games you already have. You may run only games you already have the rights to use. Do not upload games to consolepc.net, do not ask the launcher to fetch games, and do not redistribute games through our download. Kiln does not include games.
Not affiliated with Sony
Kiln is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Sony Interactive Entertainment. “PlayStation” and related marks belong to their owners. Do not present Kiln as an official Sony or PlayStation product, and do not sell access to this free Windows installer.
Acceptable use
Use the Windows app on a PC you are allowed to use. Do not break the download, the site, or someone else’s copy of the launcher. Local law applies to how you use an emulator. If a term here is unenforceable where you live, the rest still stands.
